Farmers Urge Humane Treatment Letter from Coventry Farm March 29, 2002 Dear Member of the NJ Assembly Agriculture Committee, As a crop and livestock farmer in New Jersey, I am writing to ask you to support A 1948, legislation that would provide minimal humane treatment for calves who are raised for veal. Specifically, this legislation would require veal calves to at least have enough space to turn around and a diet with fiber. This is not too much to ask. I encourage you to support this commonsense measure. Thank you,
